Released for T-Mobile, the Samsung T229 is an entry-level phone with basic features such as SMS, MMS and instant messaging (AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, Windows Live and Yahoo! Messenger), as well as T-Mobile's MyFaves program to keep in contact with customers' favorite people. The T229 integrates a VGA camera with 4x zoom and Bluetooth wireless technology for handsfree access to headsets and car kits. Other features include calendar and notepad functionality, voice recorder and speakerphone.
